This single from the critically acclaimed Danish singer Mette Juul is her personal take on a timeless jazz standard.
The listener is drawn into the existential and mysterious universe of love. In collaboration with two world-class instrumentalists, the American guitarist Mike Moreno and Swedish bassist, cellist and multi-instrumentalist Lars Danielsson, Ms. Juul offers a personal and magical interpretation on the classic.
About the recording, Mette Juul says: ” I have wanted to dive in and explore the song Beautiful Love for a very long time, and together with Lars Danielsson and Mike Moreno we have wrapped the song in celestial frames, that add a layer of mystery to the song, that I feel really suits it. Beautiful Love feels like an ”old friend” that I through this interpretation get to see from a different angle.

In other words- with love also comes a question mark, as there are no guarantees that love will last forever. The only thing that is certain is; that when love comes into your life- you will never be the same again”
Beautiful Love is the first single from Mette Juul’s upcoming album Celeste, which marks her 6th solo album- to be released on 10 November 2023 (Naxos-Prophone).
