Anesthetic Youth is a four-piece alternative indie rock band based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Formed in 2017, the members are a medley of nationalities, Giang (vocal) is Vietnamese, Jesus (bass) is Peruvian, Luis (drums) is American and Angelo (guitar) is Portuguese. They play a blend of emo and experimental rock with muscular guitar lines, a precise and driving rhythm section, and a fiery front-woman leading the way.
They released their first single, “Self Portrait” in June 2018 followed by their debut EP, DYSTOPIA in February 2019. At the moment they are touring Southeast Asia to promote their first single “Fortune and fame” from their debut album to be released in November 2020.
