The True Socialists are on Wall Street and They’re not the Democratic Kind, by Davin Michael Stedman

As the stock market tanks we have a real opportunity to make a much more important correction to our economy.

The stock market is based on the faith of Billionaires in how much money they can extract from the people of the United States while limiting their exposure to such dangers as increasing wages and investing in infrastructure and social programs.

The Stock Market is part of the true outlook of our economy, but a stock market raising 10,000 points while Americans are becoming homeless at a rate similar to The Great Recession puts Americans in a more precarious position than the Crash in 2008.

Because when the stock market crashed social programs were infused to keep Americans alive to get back to work and pay for the Corporate Socialist bail out of the failing banks and automakers.

But when the Socialism for the rich worked out and our wealth was redistributed in the form of bonuses the average American is told we are looking for handouts, when we in fact want a return on our investment in Wall Street.

We saved Wall Street.

And they not only kept us working to keep Wall Street humming they returned the favor with giving themselves tax cuts for corporations and the wealthy, and giving us a gig economy as a penalty for daring to seek full time employment for proper coverage and basic benefits.

When the new flu or the next quite preventable disaster knocks them out they will come for more Socialism and tell us yet again our bail out is Socialism.

But they are The Socialists. Just not the Democratic kind.

The economy is not soaring when growth matches homelessness.

When an economy can not tackle an Opioid epidemic that is a trainwreck that keeps piling upon itself, do you really think we can handle an epidemic that is to be prevented by no longer shaking hands?

Wash your hands all you want. You can’t wash off the lie that our economic growth was not based on orgy of highway robbery and speculation.

Computer model that, Wall Street.
