25 Albums in 25 Days – George Clinton: YOU SHOULDN’T-NUF BIT FISH, by Tom Kipp

I’ve been nominated by my brilliant pal Chris Estey to post 25 albums in 25 days that have had a major CREATIVE impact on me—just album covers without any explanation—and to nominate a different person each day to do the same.

Today I nominate: Cory VK

Day 16:

George Clinton: YOU SHOULDN’T-NUF BIT FISH (Capitol Records LP, 1983)
George Clinton: YOU SHOULDN’T-NUF BIT FISH (Capitol Records cassette tape, 1983)
George Clinton: YOU SHOULDN’T-NUF BIT FISH (Capitol Records compact disc reissue, 1991)

Today’s post is dedicated to Pedro Bell, aka “Sir Lleb”, Parliament-Funkadelic LP cover artiste and liner notes conceptualizer extraordinaire.

This particular album cover ranks amongst the late Mr. Bell’s very greatest expository, hyper-visual, information-mad achievements, just as the album itself remains one of George Clinton’s, from a musical-conceptual standpoint!

RIP Pedro Bell (b. 11 June 1950; d. 27 August 2019)

Purchased: 14 March 1984 in Missoula, MT.
