There’s a Heaven Ryan Adams Will Never Touch, by Davin Michael Stedman

I always said that Bryan Adams was way better than Ryan Adams and it was NEVER cool. It was never ironic.

I was just being honest.

I would simply state that Ryan Adams is not a great songwriter and he will never write a song as good as ‘Heaven‘, which Brandi Carlile knocked out of the park on her lovely + incredible Valentines themed EP.

But now…..for f☆ck’s sake everyone is going to agree with me and pretend they weren’t head over heels with yet another mediocre talent.

That dude wasn’t thaaaaat goooooooood. Now I guess it turns out he is not a good guy.

Also stop making mediocre talents famous through this HIPSTER circle jerk method of lifting up these so called voices of our generation.

I am not buying Bright Eyes either. He doesn’t even like his fans.

I never thought Ryan Adams was as relevant as Nickelback. And I loathe Nickelback and I have another bit about them that was just proven to be true. That can be Part II.

And if, hey, you know me, if you really know me… you know this Bryan Adams thing is one of my riffs.

…and nobody agrees with me, especially not in a group setting.

But for the love of Canadian Rock; Ryan Adams never wrote and produced a danceable pop rock masterpiece as strong as ‘Summer of 69‘.

Ryan Adams just puts out half finished work with out throwing out his sh☆tty songs and then says,

“Look I’m prolific.”

Mandy Moore would have been better off marrying Steve Buscemi. That dude would have treated her like a Queen, directed her videos, and made love to her like it was their last night on earth everytime.

But Mandy believed the HYPE.

Don’t be a Hipster.

Use your f☆cking ears.

And here is ‘Heaven’ which Ryan Adams will never touch.
