Read yesterday in the Wall Street Journal about US cities that have the highest viewership ratings for various sports. Greensboro NC has the highest for NASCAR. Not necessarily a surprise there. Buffalo ranks #1 for NHL. Louisville tops the college basketball circuit. Birmingham AL is #1 for college football. New Orleans is #1 for the NFL. What I like best is that hockey-crazed Minneapolis (I would say MN) ranked first for the Winter Olympics. Not necessarily a surprise there.
The article wondered why PGA viewership would be #1 in Oklahoma City, which is not even a stop on the tour.
