I met Jesse in 1983 when I was playing with Norton Buffalo at The Palomino Club in L.A. He was sitting by himself at a small table in the back, by the wall. He didn’t have much to say, other than ‘nice playing’. Neither of us was looking for a long, meaningful conversation. lol.
He always played from the heart, off the cuff, off the hook, beautful guitar.
