Sunsleep release their first single taken from their upcoming full length album releasing late 2023. The new single titled “Hello Goodbye” (Listen Here) gives fans a taste of what to expect on the new album. Along with an eclectic new music video directed by Lance Gergar (Slaves, Rain City Drive) (Watch Here).
“Hello Goodbye is a reintroduction to Sunsleep after over a 2 year unspoken hiatus. The song is filled with the angst I felt during my time away “pursuing my own music” and the jadedness that often follows passions taking a backseat. Hello Goodbye is a bit of an ironic title and is phrased as a question of sorts , “Are we a waste of time?”, “feel like giving up, where did we go wrong, can’t see through the dirt, this ain’t over baby, Hello Goodbye”. All these thoughts of uncertainty, doubt, and the will to push forward is what made this song such a big one for me and how I really wanted to step back into the driver’s seat.” states Devin Barrus (Vocals)
