GUAYNAA LAUNCHES LONG-AWAITED NEW SINGLE

Miami, FL., February 28, 2020 – Guaynaa, the irreverent reggaeton superstar who broke into the musical scene with his multi-platinum hit, “Rebota”, and who in his short but rapidly growing career has shaken up the urban genre with his unique proposal and hits like “Chicharron” and “Buyaka”, launches today the long-awaited new single, “Rompe Rodillas” (Knee Breaker).
In “Rompe Rodillas”, Guaynaa demonstrates his mastery of the double entendre by incorporating the intense sounds of perreo and integrating innovating touches which evoke old-school reggaeton. This is a song that will light up dance floors across Latin America, inviting us to the “mamarre” and “breaking our knees” in the true style of Guaynaa.
The single was written by Guaynaa, Juan Salinas and Oscar Salinas (Play-N-Skillz, also producers of “Con Calma” Daddy Yankee and “Muévelo” Nicky Jam feat Daddy Yankee) Scott Summers, Gary Walker and Rafael Regginalds Aponte and also produced by renowned duo Play-N-Skillz and co-produced by Scott Summers and Guaynaa.
“Rompe Rodillas” music video was directed by Pedro Araujo of 2 Wolves Films in Los Angeles, California, featuring Guaynaa in a fun and interesting pool party. The video captures the essence of what has turned Guaynaa into a unique artist who has created his own niche within the urban genre.
Ever since “The Guaynaabichy” broke into the music scene, he hasn’t stopped surprising fans and the entire music industry with the unique style he imprints on each of his songs, turning them into instant hits, including his break-out worldwide single, “Rebota”, that has more than 430 million views on YouTube, while “Chicharrón” and “Buyaka” have over 260 million and 55 million streams respectively.
