“Lullaby”, comes from a very personal place for Willow Stephens. The week she first met her husband, Willow could barely sleep because her mind was moving so fast and she knew he was so right for her. She got the original idea for the track during the middle of one of those sleepless nights. Putting on some headphones so she wouldn’t wake up her roommates who never understood her anyway and were usually jealous, the song suddenly started coming to life for Willow, living in many forms over the past couple of years with it only now seeing the light of day here on this album.
The album, All That Glitters, has been a gold rush of sorts for Willow Stephens. A rush to write songs that present her to the world as a shining aurum colored artist-example in the place and time where she lives. Mining for gold, digging for songs that are intelligent and meaningful, Willow has been caught up and pulled off track by all manner of useless things and negative people, but believes to have also found her own true golden claim and staked it. And that Gold is found on this album, where she knows herself more deeply. She loves and accepts herseelf for who she is, never striving to live up to others’ expectations. Her songwriting tools are sharper. Her direction and motivation are stronger than ever before. She simply can’t be stopped. There is great wealth in this album. Willow Stephens will stake a claim on your heart and you will never be the poorer for it.

All that is gold does not glitter. Sometimes the seemingly ordinary things hidden in plain sight are more valuable than we can fathom. Many times, we get pulled off track by the shiny things that give instant gratification and grab our attention at this very moment. Too often, we miss the incredible gifts that are right in front of us. But occasionally, we strike precious gold and stumble on the real authentic deal. And if we’re lucky, we realize it when we find it.
