The Last Freddie Vedder Imitator, by Davin Michael Stedman

“Scott Stapp was like hearing a drunk tone deaf sorority girl singing Christina Aguilera, minus the charm.”
Somebody out there has to have a Creed tattoo. Who is it? I remember in college when drunk frat dudes would say who ever the hell played guitar from his soul patch, was a better guitar player than Jimmy Page.

….and I would laugh. And then I laughed some more. I always thought Creed sucked.

Scott Stapp was like hearing a drunk tone deaf sorority girl singing Christina Aguilera, minus the charm.

America was so hungry for another Pearl Jam, they came after these 21 week old dough nuts with their arms wide open.

I remember who was down with Limp Bizzzzquick and Creed.

It’s not MAGA bad. It’s just funny herd mentality, trendy come get this fresh bag of sh☆t while it’s hot type sh☆t.

How pride proceeds the fall, even when you’re great. But when you are garbage but you can pull the Christian Rock crowd with your quasi spiritual lyrics, and beef with Fred Durst like two drunk drivers racing headlong in the night, the fall back to the cracker barrel of Florida is studded in the pleasures of an elbow deep cummupance.

When people tell me I sound too much like Mick Jagger I say, “Thank you.” But what I am really saying is, “You’re welcome.”
