Today, AMA reveals her new single and video ‘Real’ and the accompanying video directed by Will Reid (A Cold Wall, Supreme, Comme De Garcon), which premiered on exclusively on PAPER today, watch it here. ‘Real’ is the first track to be taken from her debut EP ‘Screenluv’ released this summer, which sees production from Pasque (Aminé), Jarreau Vandal (Soulection), Karma Kid (Octavian) and more.

Explaining what inspired the track, AMA says “I wrote Real’ a few months into a new relationship. To me, it’s about wanting to be there for the other person and offer whatever you can to help with what they’re going through and struggling with, but they still haven’t quite put their guard down or fully opened to you”.

Marking her introduction with her debut single ‘Monochrome’, 19 year old West London singer AMA impressed with the soulful track, and equally so with its accompanying stunning visuals directed by Arnaud Bresson, of Division Paris (A$AP Rocky, Kali Uchis, Kayne West, M.I.A.). On her second single ‘Slip’, AMA teamed up with producer Courage (Black Butter) once again for her self-affirming anthem.
