Nobody by Davin Michael Stedman

If I was a rapper, I would call myself Nobody. I love how Odysseus stabs the Cyclops in his big fat eye and when his friends come to his rescue they ask, “who did this to you Brother?”

He says, “Nobody!!! Nobody did this!”.

When I travel the world, people ask me who I am, and I say, “look man, I’m a nobody, I just got a few songs, but I’m nooooobody.”

Oh yeah…I am a rapper. I forget some times. Then I accidentally program three rap songs in a row like I did in New Orleans.

And I’m nobody.

Some jokes will be funny one thousand years from now. 14,000 lines that Alexander the Great impressed Aristotle by memorizing, and that was by far the best joke in Homer’s Arsenal.

Nobody.

Here is some of Homeric poetry you might recognize from the boneyard of history…

“And who can love you like me? (Nobody)
Who can sex you like me? (Nobody)
Who can treat you like me, my baby? (Nobody)
Nobody, baby (Nobody)”

☆Greek chorus in parenthesis
