Roxy Music • Both Ends Burning • Live at Wembley 1975, by Jim Basnight

A whole generation of bands copied them. If you’ve seen this before a million times in the 80’s, it’s only because you were late on Roxy Music. Here they are at their peak with “Both Ends Burning,” a single that was a hit in the UK, but went nowhere in the states, even though it was the follow up for “Love Is The Drug”, their biggest stateside hit. I even saw the late Ian Fisher a little in the style of singer Bryan Ferry in this one.
