Below is the email I recently received from the Japanese band, Jan Flu. Since East Portland Blog is the place where “East Meets West for All the Best” this is an important communication and Jan Flu is an important band about which as much information as possible should be shared. Unfortunately the language barrier separating us is high and probably insurmountable. I’ve included most of their email below. As you can see, they’ve used some sort of computer translator which generates only confused text that at best only suggests at their meaning. Nonetheless give it a read, listen to their songs. Research them as much as you can and tell the world about Jan Flu, the finest Nerd Surf band of all time. They also describe their sound as “Tropical Lo-fi.”
