The White Buffalo and Chuck Ragan to Bring the Manliest Tour on Earth to Portland and Seattle

An amazing act which I’ve just discovered, The White Buffalo (aka Jake Smith), will be co-headlining a Wonder Ballroom show in Portland on April 8 with the equally amazing Chuck Ragan, unleashing the local manifestation of what their publicist promises will be the manliest tour on Earth. Both the White Buffalo and Ragan rock out with two-fisted Americana the like of which hasn’t been heard in a long time. He’s not a gelding buffalo, the bearded one has some balls and testosterone to spare. Likewise Mr. Ragan. Check out the White Buffalo’s video above for “How the West Was Won” and (far) below for “Don’t You Want It.” Also below is Ragan’s new video for “Something May Catch Fire.” When you get a chance, take a listen to Buffalo’s new album, Shadows, Greys & Evil Ways which can be heard at his website. These two acts will also be appearing in Seattle on April 7 at Showbox Market, and April 16 at the Metro in Chicago.
