Two days ago, a Zippy cartoon titled, “Shoe In” mentioned The Holy Modal Rounders, Peter Stampfel‘s band of the last 40 or so years. Peter has contributed to EPB, thus, this was the first mention of any EPB contributor in Bill Griffiths’ Zippy cartoons, or in any iconic cartoon for that matter:
