BJ Sam’s “Marry Me” unites bright, warm Africa and snowy, crisp Europe into one loving funfest

BJ Sam has been pouring out all his imagination, creativity, and talent into the pursuit of creating music that will bring joy, melody and brilliance to the universe.

Think about that for a second.

Now he has released a singularly dynamic and beautiful wedding proposal anthem for all the lovebirds across the globe.

Amen to that!

The global appeal of the song is underpinned by its bright visuals, juxtaposing views of a tropical paradise with equally picturesque (?) snow-covered winter scenes. The beautiful lady in the video is known as Spicemodel, and she surely is, in every sense of both words.

BJ Sam featured other incredibly gifted world class musicians in the song including Greek guitarist Nikolas Gialtrinos, German born legendary saxophonist Biggi Vinkeloe, Norwegian drummer Helge Hanssen (it is an unusual thing to see an old caucasian man drumming Afropop in the snow, but Helge pulls it off), and acclaimed Swedish musicians Magnus Rosen and Mikael Erlandsson.

In 2023, in response to the war in Ukraine, BJ Sam assembled 23 artists from all continents of the world to release a music video titled ‘Show some love’, asking Russians to drop their weapons and embrace peace.

“You Are Worthy Jesus” (below) is a beautiful gospel classic with harmony that will grab you from the very first note and transport you into angelic atmospheres. As the tune progresses you will find all your anxiety relieved. It is beautifully sung in the 12 most popular languages of the world despite the differences in culture, race, ethnic and music diversity creating an amazing rhythmic blend of English, French, Chinese, Hindi, Portuguese, Swahili, German, Italian, Igbo, Spanish, Korean, and Arabic.

According to BJ sam, he received the song in an heavenly vision in which he heard the angels signing and saying “You are worthy Jesus, to receive glory, honour and power”.

These words are found in Revelation 4:11.
