VIRGINIA-RAISED SINGER-SONGWRITER BASED IN ASBURY PARK NJ, JORDAN JOYES, SINGS HONESTLY ABOUT “PASSING SHIPS”

As the driving force of Appalachian Punk Bluegrass group Gallows Bound, Jordan Joyes has proffered her brand of song styling and powerful vocals to the world, touring across the states and internationally with an array of artists from Swingin’ Utters, The Goddamn Gallows, Supersuckers, Scott H. Biram, Guttermouth, Sham 69, Koffin Kats and Jesse Dayton to name a distinguished few. It’s no surprise she’s enlisted Bouncing Souls’ Pete Steinkopf to produce her forthcoming solo album, featuring a star studded cast of artists that run the gamut of musical genres but share one common thread: devotion to powerful, heartfelt music. Her first single “Passing Ships” is a sonically rich track featuring The Walker Roaders, a star studded lineup consisting of Grammy award winning producer and member of Flogging Molly, Ted Hutt, accordion player for The Pogues’ James Fearnley, and Marc Orrell of Dropkick Murphys. Mixed by Mike Plotnikoff, engineer and mixer for artists such as INXS, The Cranberries, Aerosmith, Kelly Clarkson, My Chemical Romance, Sarah McLachlan, and many more.
