The Harlem Gospel Travelers declare, “God’s Been Good to Me”

The Harlem Gospel Travelers are back with an impeccable cover of The Mighty Walker Brothers’ “God’s Been Good To Me.” This heater of a track highlights the immense talent and power of the NYC-based three piece.

“It’s a song that represents a time in music that not many people recognize. A time in which gospel funk took over and was burning up radios, TVs and dance floors,” Thomas Ifedayo Gatling says, one of the bands members and co-producer of the track. “Music like this pioneered and created space for artists like us. To sink our teeth into this banger of a song was so fulfilling. The high energy of the music… matched with the big vocals… it fills you with the spirit so much. You can’t help but to get up a dance.”

Meet HGT on the dance floor with their new track “God’s Been Good To Me.”

“I don’t know about you but he’s been extra good to me!” Gatling exclaims.
