Richie Quake releases hotly anticipated debut album, ‘I Want Some!’

Viewed as a whole, this album is a window into a day in the life of Richie – without over-embellishing anything or cleaning up any of the stains. With the privilege of helping lead the way for the new generation of the indie scene, Richie has called together quite the roster of collaborators for this project. Influence from Anna Shoemaker, Morning Silk, Middle Part, Blonder, Sur Back, Andreas Stavropolis and Tabitha Aryn Ellin are woven into the fabric of I Want Some! Everything Richie does is about community, and his debut body of work is no exception.
In celebration of his debut album release, Richie will be hosting an album release party at Brooklyn, NY’s Baby’s All Right on July 20. This will be his first ever headline show, in none other than the city that shaped him. Fans can expect a turnout of Richie’s close collaborators, as well as a performance by Beau. Tickets for the release party show are available HERE.
Summer 2021 saw the acclaimed release of Quake’s sophomore EP, VOYAGER, available for streaming and download HERE. Like the spacecraft of the same name, VOYAGER is a journey into the unknown, one that begins with a pursuit of knowledge and ends with connection. Quake – whose boundary-busting work as both artist and producer recently saw him featured on Spotify’s hugely influential Lorem playlist – has earned a wide range of critical applause from such high profile outlets as VICEPAPERNYLONPigeons and PlanesKCRWLyrical LemonadeEARMILK, and The FADER, to name but a few. In recent months, he has released singles off of his debut album including “That’s Not Love!”, “Crawl” and “Cherry Red.” His first full-length album I Want Some! is now available on all DSPs via Mass Appeal.
