What a coinkydink! On the day that I heard that 2 Oregon counties filed petitions to secede from the state – so they could join with Idaho instead….cuz, who wouldn’t? – I also stumbled upon this episode of Green Acres, where HOOTERVIILLE DOES THE SAME!! It SECEDES from the State! Because of the Guv’ners’ mean taxes! How prescient, huh??! Art, Life – one in the same, right?
