Papa Muteesa is an extremely promising new artist from Uganda, a burgeoning center of Gospel music in East Africa. He recently released two delightful albums, Redemption and Here I Am. Both of these albums won me over immediately and I wholeheartedly urge you to give them a listen so that you, too, can add these songs to your every playlist.
Papa’s music is mostly Christian Gospel, but he has other songs that are more generally inspirational. He seamlessly tailors his musical outfit, choosing from among many styles such Afro-Pop, Reggae and global worship. His songs are available through Tunecore and most of the online stores such as Spotify and iTunes. He has added his lyrics to Musixmatch and synced all lyrics via Shazam. He is hoping to reach fans around the world and has many English songs.
