Sabbath Singalong #55 | Sandra Entermann, Paul Fua & Johanna McKay

Sandra Entermann is an Australian singer of Christian music, contemporary and otherwise. She has become a global phenomenon in the last year as she has been organizing these weekly “Sabbath Singalongs with Sandra” where she joins a rotating cast of choristers and musicians who get together and sing every Friday night hoping their listeners join in and sing along from home. At times, song choices are taken from audience requests sent over Facebook. Though the singalong sessions are often simple and transmitted through a phone to the world, there is something reassuring in her voice and the harmonies she’s able to reach with her cohorts. Those happy sounds go straight to the heart of every listener, wherever they may be in the world. Take a listen and join in the global heart-melding, feelgood ambience. This week’s studio-born episode is lovely, with three professional microphones, great song choices, virtuoso piano playing, and many excellent vocal performances.

Sandra is a member of the very cool Seventh Day Adventist Church (www.Adventist.org).

Sabbath Singalong #100 | Sandra Entermann, Nela Breski, Ollie Fua, Paul Fua & Johanna McKay

And below is a golden oldie, an Entermann family singspiration from many months ago that sounds lovely and gives you an in idea of the DIY, independent, family-oriented feel of the singalongs:

Day is Dying in the West
Burdens are Lifted at Calvary
This Little Light of Mine
At the Cross
Shout to the Lord
There is Sunshine in My Soul
Leaning on the Everlasting Arms
Standing on the Promises
In the Garden
When we All Get to Heaven
I’m in the Lord’s Army
Sweet By and By
Sweet Hour of Prayer
Give Me Oil in My Lamp
It is Well
Soon
O Shepherd Divine
Ancient Words
Go Tell it on the Mountain
Family of God
In His Time
You are Holy
