On Saturday, I heard an interview on my favorite radio show, This Is Hell, hosted by Chuck Mertz on WNUR (89.3 FM in Chicago), with Flint Taylor and Jeffrey Haas. These two guys founded the People’s Law Center.

Taylor wrote a book called The Torture Machine, which sits prominently on my bookshelf. Taylor devoted a vast majority of the book about his pursuit of Commander Jon Burge and his “Midnight Crew” who coerced murder confessions from at least 10 Black Men through torture he learned in Viet Nam (like electrocution of testes).
