Mudhoney – Touch Me I’m Sick, by Davis Gritspappy Jean

Seattle has always since day one been a sick place. If my grandparents were alive they would tell you without a twitch what they thought about it. They lived here in the seventies as transplants from Knoxville. My grandfather was a racist to the extreme, the amount of race mixing here drove him to a rabid froth! 😂

He also played stride piano and my grandmother didn’t care for the forwardness of aggressive women who would hit on him right in front of her. Then you add the serial murderers and the background of white slavery and kidnappings for a seagoing labor force, look at a few old photographs of the first generation of clear cut, treatment of Chief Joseph… Seattle really was that end of the line, get away from the law, hideout and start over kind of place. Sick is embedded. “Touch me I’m Sick.”🤣
