Noisebody – Stolen Pleasure, ADAF

We’re so happy to share with you ADAF, Noisebody’s first release on Openers Records, and a video for “Stolen Pleasure”. Noisebody, the keyboard fronted pop outfit based in Louisville, creates an aquatic world full of soft wavy keyboards and a beat that keeps the damn boat moving.

Noisebody has been steadily releasing music over the last 10 years in New York, Berlin, and now Louisville, though you’ll only find their last few releases online. ADAF was produced by Noah Barker, mastered by Huntley Miller, and features Sean Liljequist on guitar on the title track. Noah says of the EP, both songs came together pretty quickly. I first demoed Stolen Pleasure in 2017 in NYC and it hasn’t changed much since then. I wrote ADAF on piano in Berlin in maybe an hour. The lyrics and melody seemed to write themselves over the chords. The song is about swimming in the ocean of doubt that comes along with playing music or putting yourself out there.
