One of East Portland Blog’s many educational missions is to serve as the website with the most covers of “Both Sides Now.” To that end, here’s another, and it’s a good one.
This one is by Mary Fahl, who is listed several places as the former lead singer of October Project.
Well, what was October Project and why did she leave? I don’t know why she left, but October Project was a nice little Goth band from the 90s. I missed them the first time through because my clothes were on fire for all of the 90s and I missed a lot.
Mary Fahl has the ultimate Goth voice and I must say that there are certain synapses at the base of my skull which only fire while listening to this version of “Both.”
