Jamaica Day 14: Live on Radio with Ras Isachar, Air Supply and the Third World, by Davin Michael Stedman

Driving to Kingston to a radio station in a tough neighborhood, to play 6 Northwest artists on the air with Selecta Ras Isachar.

Roots FM is excited to hear more artists from our scene.

The streets of Kingston are about to be ringing with the sounds of Stingshark StingSarah Christine, Stay Grounded, and more.

If I see an opportunity to promote my scene, I’m gonna’ make it happen. All the crabs have to do is work together to Rock that bucket, and we all go free…

Rise the tide. More moves to come.

Did we just stay up all night playing Seattle music in Kingston? Selecta Ras Isachar is going to have such a good time when we get him to Seattle.

He did this midnight to 6 am shift last Friday night, then slept on that bumpy bus from the big city to Port Antonio to host my first show and introduce me to the audience.

Tonight he introduced my next single ‘The Bush Doctor’ to Jamaica on Roots 86.1 FM.

Jogging around Halfway Tree in Kingston is called SPRINTING. The Jamaican Gospel playlist definitely helped.

Want to see my route?

Oh yeah, and as I have said The Colonel is #1 in Kingston, and at minimum wage you work morning till night and you’d have to split a meal with your family.

Which is part of the complex reasons why crime is an issue on a street level.

Who is selling you dreams you can’t afford? I hope not me. I am trying encourage Americans to use their passport and build alliances with good people before the World pulls our card.

If regular decent Americans made their presence felt internationally and at home, they might not pull out card and tank our almighty dollar.

But when all we sell so many weapons and Kentucky Fried Chicken and horrible tweets…I get it.

The EU is screening Americans in 2021 and pretending what they are selling us is not Visas. Beware of short sighted gains and that will come back to haunt us. It’s called stealing…from the future.

Oh our economy is strong as we burn alliances and strong arm allies. That’s more dangerous than jogging in a tourguise swimsuit shirtless through what is considered one of most high crime areas in a murder capital. At least I thought about the repercussions.

I came back to Reggae Hostel and Italee’s sister said she needs to jog soon. I said it was probably better if I jogged with her next time.

Honestly I was training to beat Italee. She smoked me on the beach, but I couldn’t run on stones.

Italee Watson I think I can catch ya in these $10 Walmart sneakers I feel awful about buying 4 pairs of because they are kind of perfect for trips like these.
