How about these apples? Friday June 14th I am going to be a guest on the Kingston radio station, Roots FM with Selecta Ras Isachar. He is going to listen to a wide variety of Northwest artists that submit music for this episode – and some of them will be highlighted on this evening and beyond.
The show will be professionally dovumented and filmed by Free Your Mind’s Caribbean director, Roy Roy Ce.
Mr Isachar is going to highlight seven artists. Three men and three women, as he has a whole hour dedicated to promoting important female voices in reggae. The 7th spot will go either way based on merit and the vibrations as he might say.
He isn’t even looking for strictly reggae artists. He sees the potential of artists like myself that are not necessarily reggae coming to Jamaica as well, that could have impactful and enthusiastic enthusiastic about the culture, if they too come to Jamaica.
This is part of something pretty awesome that I cannot yet announce. But I will say working with Tuff Gong International on distrubution and promotion has opened up new opportunities to tell some great stories.
But I would tag artists you think would love to have professional video of Selecta Ras Isachar introducing their music to the loyal local listeners and those that listen to Roots FM as it is streamed worldwide, out of the source of Reggae culture, Kingston, Jamaica.
