Travis Simmons – What a Wonderful Bowl, By Davin Michael Stedman

So glad I came to work today, against all odds and islands of ice. It was wonderful and quite unusual. First my ace budtender I love to close with broke her ribs sledding on a fire hydrant.

She came and I am her ride home. My bosses called and said to take good care of her, so I fed her a cupcake and put her to sleep with Dean Martin.

Then the comedian Travis Simmons came in and we sang some Jazz with Ella and Duke from a marvelous moment, once upon a time in Berlin.

Then Simmons showed me his pretty fantastic improv take on the Armstrong classic, that became, ‘What a Wonderful Bowl’.

He captured his own zeitgist and the whimsical spirit of Jazz, with an edible inspired, 62 moons of Saturn aligning type LIVE take;

…the type thing that swings so hard, that if wasn’t such a great atheist, you would it sounded as if God walked in the room and got stoned with The Holy Spirit.

You can search for ‘What A Wonderful Bowl’ on Spotify, from his – Big Funny OrchresTrav – release.

Back to work! Time to close. My life is rarely boring. Music is that spice that entices us all to LIVE together, and some songs seem like they’ll live forever and only sound better.
