Bad Religion and The Bronx Come to Portland, Seattle, By Holly Homan

Bad Religion are considered the Godfathers of Punk and rightly so. Formed in 1979, they obtained notoriety with their 1994 album Stranger Than Fiction. Now with three-fourths of the original members back in the band, Bad Religion are hitting the road. With them will be beloved and acclaimed LA band, The Bronx, who have been called “the finest punk band of this century” by Kerrang.

With intelligent lyrics and melodic, guitar and percussion driven songs (“American Jesus,” “I Want To Conquer the World,” Give All the Idiots a Brand New Religion), Bad Religion are a must see for any punk fans. In fact, you aren’t a real punk if you don’t go see them. So get yourself down to Roseland in Portland on April 14 or Seattle’s Showbox SODO on April 15th and get into that mosh pit, do some crowd surfing and enjoy.
