This is from a popular 2008 Bollywood movie titled Bachna Ae Haseeno (plot is outlined in Wikipedia). The music video is shown frequently on Indian television. Basically one guy is apologizing to his old girlfriend for hurting her and is making sure that she knows how much her husband (the Sikh guy) loves her.
Coincidentally, the actress playing the former girlfriend/Sikh guy’s wife, Minissha Lamba, has been in local headlines the last few days. She was detained at the Mumbai Airport for not declaring a large amount of expensive jewelry that she was carrying on her return from the Cannes Film Festival. Her defense is that she is not the owner of the jewelry — that it was loaned to her as part of a promotion.
In the Hindustan Times, she described her detention in this way, “I chose to take a chill-pill. I’m just a little sheep that inadvertently got caught up in a situation. I think I got into the controversy by default. It’s one of those life-experiences. Even in future I will find myself in unpleasant situations. What I make of them is in my hands entirely.”
