The occasion was Willie’s 70th Birthday and the DVD is “Willie Nelson and Friends Live and Kicking.” [Willie was born in Abbott, Texas, but his country music recording career began in Portland suburb, Vancouver, Washington.] It’s easy to have mixed feelings about Shania Twain and Mutt Lange, but she is very lovely and almost always lovable. She has also aged well and artistically matured away from Mutt Lange.
