Charisma pours out of Elliot Greer’s groovy vocals as he reconciles internal despair, sharing his journey to find purpose and intangible wealth through the love of another. Lost and convinced he was beyond saving, Greer shares how “she arrived, not as a savior but as a mirror, reflecting the gold buried beneath his rust. With her, he finds purpose, dignity, and the kind of wealth no eye can measure.”

Elliot passionately sings “All my life I’ve searching for something feasting of crumbs trying to survive. To the naked eye I don’t have much of nothing but with you I’m the richest man alive.” Accumulating over 20 million views across his Instagram reels and TikTok videos, he has a devoted fanbase excited for his latest release.

Greer, who writes, produces, records, mixes, and masters his own music, is a musical workhorse, busking for a straight year in Central Park and gigging all over New York City. His efforts led to accompanying performances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and opening for Sam Barber on his recent tour. Earlier this year, Greer released “Coward,” his antithesis of the standard Valentine’s Day ballad, a track offering a glimpse into how love can be a great yet dangerous thing.

Whether scrawled in a handwritten diary, committed to the pages of a book, or posted online, an authentic story will resonate. From a stark and stripped-down perspective, Elliot Greer delivers unfiltered truth with grizzled, yet warm intonation accompanied by acoustic guitar. For as much as he harks back to an old-school troubadour tradition, his appeal transcends eras. As such, he asserts himself as the rare singer-songwriter who can cut through the noise on social media with tens of millions of views or pack a residency gig on a weekly basis. Growing up in Scotland, he attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City and later landed a part in Glen Hansard’s Once in upstate New York—only for COVID to shut down the production before it got off the ground. Armed with a basic $100 microphone purchased by his girlfriend, he wrote, produced, recorded, mixed, and mastered his independent debut, Handcrafted, in the bathroom of his apartment. Simultaneously, he gigged nonstop, busking 357 days in Central Park, performing anywhere around town with a stage, and joining Ashley McBryde and John Osborne for a performance on The Tonight Show at Jimmy Fallon. In 2022, he launched a TikTok account and broke through with the single “Bleed.” A video of Elliot with an acoustic guitar singing his soul out caught fire, reeling in 14 million views across platforms. The Scotland-born and New York-based artist continued forging a lasting connection on 2023’s “I Bought a Honda” and his Barebones project. Elliot spent his 2024 on the road, across the US tour with Sam Barber and his headline sold-out UK tour. Keep an ear out for his new tracks “Gold,” “Intruders,” “This Town,” “Afterlife,” and now, “Coward.” This is just the beginning of Elliot’s forthcoming project.
