Brian and Christa Yak are the husband-and-wife duo behind For the Fatherless. They met in Nashville, Tennessee, in 2008 while studying music at Belmont University and singing together in a jazz vocal ensemble. As they continued writing and collaborating, their bond deepened and their love story began. They were married in 2013–the same year For the Fatherless was born as both a musical expression and a ministry rooted in their shared journey.
