SUMERGIBLE – No Te Veo

Thanks to the great Luna Keller for translating this info:

Sumergible are Carlos Aguirre (drums), Esteban Santos (bass), and the brothers Antonio and José Rojas (guitar and voice). Founded in La Laguna (Tenerife) in 2011, the band rocks an alt-pop vibe inspired by English music (and classic sounds from everywhere).

In June 2016, Sumergible recorded their first album at Sonobox Studios in Madrid with producer Manuel Colmendero (Vetusta, Morla, Nena Daconte, Eladio y los Seres Queridos…). That self-titled album was released February 3, 2017.

With Cables (2019), the band’s second record, Sumergible expands on the introspective, intimate and atmospheric sounds captured on their first album. This time out they explore new directions, more intense feelings, and broader themes. They are ready to break new ground in the already-fertile Spanish music scene.

Lead singer José Rojas describes “No Te Veo” as, “a song about the hurry, banality and triviality of the world we live in.”
