‘Sayonara‘ is a new instrumental EP by Keyone, created by sampling old Japanese records and transforming them into something personal. Each track began with hours of listening and searching for the right sounds. Melodies, textures, and moments were carefully lifted, chopped with the MPC, and reshaped in Ableton into something new.
The EP tells a story through five tracks:
Hajimari (The Beginning)
Hotarukago (Firefly Cage)
Sasurainouta (Song of the Wanderer)
Meinichi (Anniversary of Death)
Sayonara (Goodbye)
