Ironically, I first ran across Diane Birch during an episode of Live From Daryl’s House. You know him, right? Hall & Oates? Yeah, him!!
I cannot get enough of the magic that Daryl Hall and his cadre of extraordinary musicians create with every episode of his gift of music to us. I mean really! He (and band) extract the pure essence of each artist he features and leaves you wanting more.
Needless to say, Ms. Birch was a featured artist in an episode and I was blown away. In addition to keyboards, she also plays guitar, violin, and sings her ass off!! (…in a Soul, Blues, Rock kinda way, yes?) What a seriously interesting surprise that was. Coupled with Daryl’s honey-tinged voice I was enthralled by their performance!
