J NOA UNVEILS EMPOWERING SINGLE “NO ME PUEDEN PARAR” 

Los Angeles, CA (March 24, 2023) – Dominican Republic’s “daughter of rap,” J Noa, returns with an empowering new single “No Me Pueden Parar” (They Can’t Stop Me) via Sony Music CAC. The 17-year-old rap phenom explains that the track is “a message of hope for everyone who thinks they can’t accomplish their dreams and feels they’re limited when the only limit that exists is the sky.” With “No Me Pueden Parar,” which was produced by Brasa (Bad Bunny, Yandel, J Lo) and Nico ClínicoJ Noa wants the world to understand that she knows what she wants, she knows where she’s from and where she’s going, and this is exactly what motivates her to go harder.
 
With powerful and gritty visuals, the video was directed by Daniel Bethencourt (Residente, Boza, The Wailers) and Lennyn Salinas and was shot in Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. The video exemplifies J Noa’s struggles from being born into a low-income household to being a woman in the male dominated rap game, while still finishing high school, doing her chores at home, and fighting to accomplish her dreams. In the video we see J Noa in different settings that contextualize her struggles as she eventually finds her way to a ladder in the sky symbolizing her upward trajectory as an artist and as a young woman with big dreams.
