Here’s a great write up on Seattle guitar player Kathy Moore. She’s definitely a musician I look up to in this city. I love Mike McCready’s insights on how she is making him a better musician.
Kathy is one of the great guitar players in a city defined by the sounds and totemic accomplishments of guitar players that put their stamp on Rock & Roll. It would have been fun to imagine Hendrix studying with Kathy and digging her tones.
If you have a chance to see her in one of her projects, do so. And imagine having the same guitar teacher as the lead guitar player from Pearl Jam.
