Boris is the Best You Got? by Davin Michael Stedman

The United Kingdom is about to have the most important election, maybe in a lifetime, deciding their ultimate fate of failure or survival. America and our media; the mainstream and the circular walls of our Social one, gives a scant f☆ck.

If I didn’t have so many English friends would I have any idea?

Nobody watches the ball. During the Brexit vote all England was talking about was Trump, and they hit themselves so hard they dropped to their knees.

I wish them the best. They have their own Trump in Boris Johnson that pretends to be a bafoon and he is quite brilliant at this.

But no matter our supposed outrage about any of this on either shore, the task of voting seems to be a more arduous chore than the instant gratification of being enraged by this.

The distractions inside distractions and the attractions of shiny things are effective, but who has the most to gain when Scotland and Northern Ireland call it quits on this odd duck?

A Kingdom? With Princes and Queens. Such a funny little place full of charming fellows that are so keen to emigrate by the millions, but who fear the immigrants they educated, and literally reprogrammed to visit, honor, and venerate their Capital and Monarchy.

If the young show and vote, their skin might be saved. Either way, The Queen and her real estate will be fined. She will get through this. But her supposed Kingdom, may not.

So went the Empire, another vanishing into the obscurity of dust, as the next lucky contestant awaits the opportunity to have a Lion share of everything.

The Rise of England was a funny, brutal thing. But someone was going to do it. At least they brought guitars.

Back to the mindlessness of being in the moment, thinking only positive, and preparing for nothing.

I prefer the Stoics who ask positively,

“What is the worst that could possibly happen?”

Like the worst Game show host in History becoming President.
