Just saw that Garry Shandling passed away suddenly. I liked him. He made meta funny and accessible at once.

Replayed the episode. A lot of discussion of death, almost eerily so. At one point Shandling mentioned that he wanted his funeral to feature a boxing referee counting him down, then waving it off and saying that he’s not getting up.
Johnny Depp arranged for Hunter Thompson to be shot out of a cannon at his memorial—no reason they couldn’t honor Shandling’s wish.
