Have you seen the year of FX’s comedy cartoon Archer, season four or so, called Archer Vice? I’ve watched that same season over and over every night for weeks and it’s perfect, a lovely piece of trash. Viewers can count on the usual season’s worth of spot-on chicanery from superstud Archer,

his disturbing and oversexed mother, Malory, and international femme fatale, Lana Kane. Over the course of the year ISIS receptionist (Archer was ISIS before ISIL was ISIS) Cheryl becomes a country singer of remarkable talent and renames herself Cherlene. Her songs are voiced by Jessy Lynn Martens and include a powerfully reworked country version of Kenny Loggins’ 80s chestnut “Danger Zone” (above) and an update of 60s blues-rocker “Baby Please Don’t Go,” originally by Them, Van Morrison‘s first band.
