Congrats to my Oregon Ducklets here at the midnight hour getting past a tough game with those California Bears 59-17. What a late game! I know 59-17 doesn’t sound like a challenge but it truly was a close 24-17 mid-way into the 3rd quarter, at which time Oregon went absolutely QUACKO.
With Alabama losing today and Kansas State winning, this likely puts Oregon and Kansas State into the number 1 and 2 rankings. Which is wonderful, of course! However, one of my bestest of friends is a rather significant Kansas State Wildcat type. It’s still a big “if”, however, if the Ducks and Wildcats end up playing in the National Championship Game, this could create a bit of football stressification factorization between she and I. I may indeed need to call on some counseling from Oregon’s mascot, Puddles the Duck, to get through this potential dilemma.
