How is it that Mavis Staples put a record out and I can’t find it on EPB?
Mavis Staples, of the first family of American singers (the Cash-Carter clan is a close second, but cannot sing as well) released an excellent album of mostly Gospel tunes in 2010 called, “You Are not Alone.” It was produced by Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy and includes such goodies as the CCR cover below. If you don’t know Mavis, you don’t know singers. She is awesome. I cannot express how good she has been and still is.
