I watched this movie last might. Loved it. Saddam didn’t like the physical act of headbanging because, according to one of the musicians, the movement is similar to when Jews pray. Saddam wanted men to have short hair. The musicians later persevered under Occupied Iraq, but checkpoints, snipers, tanks, unemployment, and overall risk of traveling in Baghdad made life, gathering and practicing extremely difficult. Also, those pesky electrical outages created by the Occupied Forces created didn’t help. I can’t believe the Occupied Forces allowed the footage to leave Iraq as one sees lots of “collateral damage” to buildings. I think this is truly unvarnished footage that reveals the havoc and lawlessness brought to Iraq. I highly recommend this film.

It was interesting to see the guys wearing Metallica, Slipknot, and Dimmu Borgir t-shirts.
